About Me
I am a journalism student at Florida A&M University with a passion for storytelling that informs, represents, and resonates with diverse communities. I am especially interested in entertainment, culture, and social issues, with a long-term goal of becoming a music and entertainment journalist.
My work is rooted in curiosity, accuracy, and authentic storytelling. I currently serve as the associate news producer for FAMU TV-20’s 5 p.m. newscast, where I help shape daily news coverage, coordinate show rundowns, and support the production process. I also work as a floor director, gaining hands-on experience in live studio environments and broadcast operations.

My Creative Expertise
Blending editorial strategy with creative storytelling to produce compelling, audience focused content across platforms. With experience as an associate newscast producer, floor director, and staff writer, each project is developed with precision, collaboration, and purpose, crafting narratives that are engaging, cohesive, and true to the voice of the brand.
1. Associate Newscast Producer
Supporting the production of live and recorded news broadcasts by writing scripts, coordinating rundowns, managing content elements, and collaborating with reporters, anchors, and technical crews to ensure a smooth and accurate newscast.
2. Floor Director
Coordinates live studio productions by cueing anchors, camera operators, and on air talent to maintain clear communication, precise timing, and seamless newscast execution.
3. Staff Writer
Researching, crafting, and refining engaging news stories, from concept to publication, that inform, captivate, and connect with audiences across print and broadcast platforms.
